Tasks

As a researcher in the Building Engineering group, your focus is on applying and achieving suitable research funds in the field of structure, construction, building materials, infrastructures, building engineering, and their relevant interdisciplinary topics to energy and sustainability. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaged individual to join us on our exciting journey taking the next steps toward building the research in the Building Engineering group. The extent of your work is 25% for 1 year, however, as the research is developed, this extent can be increased in the future.
 
You will search and find available research fund calls nationally and internationally and write and provide applications for the calls. You will contact and achieve collaborations from different universities, companies, and organizations for the applications and submit the applications. You will do the administrative works related to the applications and run their required meetings. You will be an important part of granted research projects and contribute to the projects effectively. You will work with a team of other researchers in the Building Engineering group.

Qualifications

You have a masters degree (or equivalent) in Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, or relevant fields. A PhD within the mentioned fields is meritorius.

You have competence, interest, and skills in searching and finding the suitable research fund calls and applying and achieving the funds.

Good records of granted research funds and scientific publications are a merit.

As a person, you are analytical and independent and enjoy driving development while you are good at collaborating and see the people whom you work with as a strength.

Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement.
